Care Home

The Care Home incorporates a Day Centre where destitute elderly people who live locally can come every day for food, company, medical care, rest and relaxation.

Jacobs rents a small house locally where the more capable ladies live and look after each other. They attend the Care Home every day between 9am and 5pm. Frail and sick residents are cared for on site with 24 hour nursing and daily doctor's visits.

The nurse takes an exercise class each morning, and the physiotherapist visits regularly.

The men have their own dormitory with sit-out areas and benches where they can watch the world go by.
